1- 60th Annual Carol of Lights

Welcome the Christmas season with the lighting of over 25,000 multicolored lights around the Texas Tech campus. Enjoy the Carillon Concert before the flipping of the switch and then watch the Masked Rider, Saddle Tramps, Torch Light Processional, and High Riders follow the luminaria lighted route around Memorial Circle to the Science Quadrangle. 2- Santaland

Enjoy this 60 year Lubbock tradition with friends and family, free entry for all ages. Walk through the holiday village looking at festive scenes, Christmas trees, live entertainment, and Santa Claus of course! This is a 14-night event, so don’t miss out. Learn where to go here.

3- Cactus Family Christmas

You’ll want to get your tickets early to this Christmas show so you won’t miss out. After taking the last two years off, the Cactus Theater Family Christmas is back with four chances to see them. 4- Candlelight at the Ranch

Step into the past, with the event that has become a Lubbock tradition to thousands of residents for the past 40 years. View the recreation of a frontier holiday similar to those on the open prairie during the 1800s, it will make you feel like you’ve gone back in time. 5- Ransom Canyon Christmas Lights

Fill the car with friends and family for a drive through Ransom Canyon looking at light displays and beautifully decorated homes. No reservation needed, just take it slow and enjoy the festive neighborhood decorations while listening to your favorite Christmas songs.  

6- Ballet Lubbock – The Nutcracker
