Whether you’re ready to find the spirit of Halloween or just check out some local favorites, our list of Halloween-themed events has something for everyone.
1. At’l Do Farms
To experience farm culture in a unique way, head on over to At’l Do Farms! With people of Lubbock anticipating the reveal of its intricate design every year, the Corn Maze is the main attraction. But this family-friendly farm offers fun for all with barnyard animals, hayrides, campfires, a pumpkin patch, and fall food stands. The corn is irresistible, whether you’re buttering it on your plate or shooting out of the Corn Canon. Find lots of fall adventure at At’l Do Farms from September 12th – November 7th.
2. Spooky Halloween Tour*
This Spooky Halloween Tour has everything; costumes, spooky cellars, vineyard tours, AND wine! Considered the wine country of the South Plains, Lubbock is home to many award-winning wineries and they stay busy during the fall. Get a taste this year by taking a ride with West Texas Wine Tours to three different locations loaded with premium wine tastings and costume contests. The next tour is October 31st, so make your reservations today and get that costume ready!
3. Pumpkin Carving at Woody’s Brick Oven Pizza and Grill
Pumpkin carving and pizza! That’s right, this one combines the best of both these worlds. Woody’s Brick Oven Pizza is hosting a week-long BYOP (Bring Your Own Pumpkin) event October 26th – 30th. So if you can stop eating the fresh-made, brick oven pie long enough, you can carve a pumpkin for the porch. You bring the pumpkin and tools and Woody’s provides the space then cleans up all the mess! What more could you want?
4. Games and Goblins*
It’s witching hour at the Science Spectrum! Games & Goblins promises to be an exciting, mystical experience, as one of the latest creations in the new series of adult (21 and up only) events at the Science Spectrum. Food trucks, prizes, and a cash bar are available for all those who dare on October 29th. Tickets are available online!
